ABOUT
THE INSTRUCTOR
My
name is Barry Hogg, I was born in 1952 in the Hunter Valley wine
growing district, NSW, Australia.
At
age eighteen, I fractured my spine in a motor bike accident, which
led to a deterioration in my health, culminating in constant pain,
infected kidneys, gout, the first stages of arthritis and ongoing
bouts of depression. Life looked bleak to say the least. After
taking numerous drugs, having dyes injected and scans taken, all
with little benefit, I lost faith in the medical system that I
thought was going to help me. In desperation I turned to alternative
therapies. At the age of twenty one I started my journey back
to health. As part of my studies in atlernative therapies, I was
introduced to the Tibetan Rites in 1992.
Since
then I have been practicing them daily. It took me three months
to build up to doing twenty one of each of the Five Tibetan Rites
and since then I have lived a pain free, healthy, non depressed,
fulfilling life, which allows me to still go surfing and play
golf off a single figure handicap.
For
the last ten years I have been working and teaching the Tibetan
Rites at one of Australia's leading Holistic Health Retreats. |
